The 18th Annual Central Avenue Jazz Festival attracts thousands to the historic Central Avenue corridor each year. As one of the largest festivals in Los Angeles and the largest in South Los Angeles, the Central Avenue Jazz Festival is a free community event that pays tribute to “The Avenue” as Central Avenue was known during the renaissance years from the 1920’s through the 1950’s. The celebration features music, delicious food, crafts and children’s activities that will take place July 27th and 28th 2013.
The festival will take place on Central Avenue between Vernon Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard in South Los Angeles from 11am to 7pm.
